By car
• From Lyon, take the A7 and exit 22 (South Orange). Take the Orange on the N7 direction. At the entrance of Orange follow Chateauneuf-du-Pape on the D68. At exit Chateauneuf-du-Pape Avignon follow the D17 for 1.5 km. Two small towers of medieval architecture along the D 17 state the road entrance leading to the castle.
• From Marseille, take the A7 towards Lyon. Take exit 23 (Avignon Nord) and follow signs Sorgue. At sorgues, follow Chateauneuf-du-Pape and take the D 17. After 3kms, before reaching the village of Chateauneuf-du-Pape, the castle is on your right on top of a hill. Two small towers of medieval architecture along the D 17 state the road entrance leading to the castle.
• From Montpellier take the A9 motorway and exit Roquemaure. exit at Roquemaure then follow directions on the Orange D976. After crossing the Rhone, follow Chateauneuf-du-Pape on the D17, go through the village and head towards Avignon / Sorgue by D17. Roll over about 2 km, the castle will be on your left up the hill.
